The 1899 Lounge
We thought it very fitting to name our state-of-the-art simulator space The 1899 Lounge. For more than 125 years, this facility has been striving to provide wellness and recreational opportunities to Grinnell and the surrounding areas.
1899 Lounge Guidelines
- All players must check-in with Pro Shop staff prior to golfing.
- Do not wear spiked golf shoes.
- Ensure your golf equipment (both golf balls and clubs) are clean prior to use. You are welcome to use the provided GCGC golf balls and club washers.
- You will be charged for golf balls not returned at the end of your reservation.
- If there are any questions, please reach out to the golf staff. Be safe, have fun, and enjoy your time with us!

Whether playing as a solo or joining friends for a virtual round of golf, we welcome you to try out the 1899 Lounge. Here are some anticipated times you can expect. The more difficult the course and conditions (wind, gimme putt distance, distance of tees played) the longer the round will take.
Guide using 6-foot gimme putts at a shorter distance tee selection.
