DESCRIPTION:4th @ The Course\nJuly 2nd-5th\nWe will have events going on throughout the 4th of July week/weekend.  Please take a moment to look at the following schedule: \n\n7/2\n\nLight the Night\nSpectators are welcome to attend!  This is not your typical “shhhhhhhhhh” golf event.  DJ\, music\, and lights will be on display!\n\n\n7/3\n\nRounds start for our Firecracker Golf Tournament.  Event details and registration can be found here.\nRounds can be played from 7/3 through 7/5.  You are welcome to replay multiple times or with different groups.\n\n\n 7/4\n\nGolf Cart parade at 10 am.  If you would like to reserve a cart to decorate\, please email or call the Pro Shop.\n\nPersonal bikes\, scooters\, ATV’s\, cars\, etc. are welcome to participate.\n\n\nFishing Derby at 10:45 am.  Please bring your own fishing poles and tackle.  No fishing license is required.\nGrill out from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm.\nThe facility will close at 4 pm so GCGC staff can attend the city festivities.\n\n\n\nHave any questions about 4th @ The Course events or anything else? SUMMARY:The Goat
DESCRIPTION:The Goat\nAugust 21st and 22nd\nIn the early 1900’s many country clubs had “goat trophies”.  Players would play during the year collecting coins\, and at the end of season\, the winner would receive “The Goat Trophy”.  We happen to have one of the original trophies from 1915\, dating back 111 years ago! \nIn present day\, the G.O.A.T. is commonly referenced now as the Greatest of All Time.  Why not bring this back alongside one of our favorite events\, the Member-Guest! \nWe will have this 2-day member-guest style event on Friday\, August 21st\, and Saturday\, August 22nd.
